I am an embedded electrical engineer with a background that is all over the map, including environmental science, landscaping, various construction-related activity, as well as music, outdoor sports, and family.

Describe your work/day-to-day: My role is in the development of the “smarts” of the HVC products at the electrical and firmware level. On a day-to-day basis this might mean I am writing code, reviewing schematics, taking measurements in the lab, or troubleshooting a device.
What drew you to HiViz?
The main thing that attracts me to HiViz is the awesome team of friendly, interesting people. The second main attraction is the opportunity to apply creative problem solving to interesting products and build something that helps people.
Where are you from originally?
I’m from the Southwest United States. I consider myself originally from Albuquerque, NM because that is where I grew up. I was born in Tucson, AZ, moved to Albuquerque, then moved to Colorado Springs, CO for college, back to Albuquerque, then to Austin, TX before ending up in Asheville.

I can play at least 6 different stringed musical instruments, and probably more if I had them.
