My professional journey began in public accounting, where I specialized in corporate tax practices. With a foundation in handling intricate tax matters, I transitioned seamlessly into private accounting, assuming the role of a staff accountant. This trajectory has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, allowing me to contribute strategically to financial success in both corporate and private settings
What do you do at HiViz?
As the Director of Finance, I play a pivotal role in steering the financial operations of the company. In addition to overseeing financial strategies, I also serve on the leadership team, contributing to executive decision-making and providing financial insights that align with the company’s overall objectives. My responsibilities encompass financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, I work towards optimizing fiscal performance and driving the financial success of the organization.
What drew you to HiViz?
I was drawn to HiViz Lighting by its mission of supporting first responders, which resonates deeply with me because my husband is a member of the community. The atmosphere of innovation within the company was both exciting and motivating. I was eager to bring my skills and expertise to play a role in shaping the success and trajectory of the organization as it continues to make a difference in the lives of first responders.
Where are you from originally?
I have bounced around different parts of North Carolina for the past 15 years and love calling Western North Carolina home.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me elbow-deep in home renovations. I am on a perpetual quest for the next home project.
