What is your background?
I started my career in the defense industry, as an Avionics and Navigation systems engineer who quickly moved into Data Link systems of military aircraft. After working on both flight simulators and actual cockpit avionics for a few high profile companies, I moved into system development of large medical devices, helping to architect some of the technology that is now in hospitals around the world. From there I did some work for tech startups, including Bluetooth mesh and EV development, focusing primarily on the telemetry systems, before landing at my forever home: HiViz Lighting, helping first responders work more safely and effectively after dark!

Describe your work/day-to-day: Come in, architect, implement, test, and release the most advanced lighting and vehicle technology in the world, designed to help people we love save lives, then go home and prepare to do it again faster and better tomorrow than we did today!
What drew you to HiViz?
The people, including both the HiViz employees and our customers. I couldn’t ask to work with a better group of individuals or to serve a more deserving group of men and women who sacrifice daily to serve their communities <3
Where are you from originally?
Jacksonville, FL
Tell us a fun fact about yourself
I’ve partaken in drinking the fermented spit of tribal women alongside the Achuar people deep in the Amazon Jungles of Ecuador and Peru. An incredible experience, but I did not ask for seconds!
