The FireTech Heated LED Headlights utilize a heated glass lens, which is around 7x more thermally conductive than polycarbonate or other plastics. This allows more transfer of heat from the heating element to the surface of the lens, which allows for faster and more efficient defrosting of the headlights. The heating element is temperature activated, which prevents the heating element from wearing out during warmer weather conditions. Utilizing a durable silver heating element, the headlight is designed for repetitious high temperature cycles in extreme environments. As with all FireTech products, it is guaranteed for the life of the truck.
